Danielle Lambert RDAEF-2 Program Director
Danielle earned the designation of Registered Dental Assistant Extended Functions-2 from UCLA. She earned the high honor of being accepted into the UCLA Restorative Dental Assistant Practitioner program.
Danielle is trained in holistic dentistry. With 15 years of experience, she spent 10 years treating patients with Temporomandibular Disorder, and 5 years in Sleep Apnea and Neuromuscular Dentistry. Danielle has received extensive training The Las Vegas Institute for Neuromuscular Dentistry, and earned her certification in transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation used for muscle therapy.
Danielle is a member of the California Dental State Board Extended Functions Committee. She also volunteers at the Thousand Smiles Orphan and Cleft Palette Clinic in Ensenada, Mexico, and is a certified Rescue Diver at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.
As an Associate Member of Appliance Therapy Practitioners Association, she has continued to attend courses to further her expertise in sleep appliances. At miVIP, Danielle conducts the preliminary evaluation of the patient’s oral health, including, intraora,l and extra-oral evaluation of soft tissue, classifying occlusion and myofunctional evaluation. Danielle expresses an extensive range of knowledge, with warmth and caring. The way she combines compassion and confidence is both reassuring and comforting.
Danielle is here to help our patients better understand dental sleep apnea and how it affects your overall body function. Danielle cares deeply about her patients, and works to help them understand how dentistry is related to their total body health.
Terry W. Scott, M.D.
Dr. Terry W. Scott is an Otolaryngologist/ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist). Dr. Scott is well-versed in nasal surgery and treating ENT disorders such as head and neck, voice, ear and hearing diseases, and also specializes in allergy and sinus disease. Dr. Scott is one of the pioneering physicians in using the new laser/radio-therapy procedure for allergies, sinus, nasal, and snoring problems. Dr. Scott is a diplomat from the Board of Otolaryngology. He has been in practice for over 20 years and has been with oBand Medical Group since 2010.
Dr. Abousaif is a board certified Gastroenterologist. He has completed extensive advanced training in treating a multitude of digestive disorders and ailments of the stomach, esophagus, small intestine, colon, rectum gall bladder, liver, and pancreas. Dr. Abousaif is an expert in utilizing the latest technology to accurately diagnose and treat a full range of digestive problems.
Dr. Abousaif is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). His publications include many articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and scientific presentations in local and national meetings.
With his excellent bedside manner and caring personality, many physicians, nurses and health care providers trust him with their own health care needs. Sergy Lyass, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Sergey Lyass is board certified in General Surgery and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), Society of the American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
He is the author of more than 100 papers in peer reviewed journals and presentations on Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Lyass is committed to the advancement of laparoscopic bariatric surgery techniques, and the exceptional treatment of the bariatric population. He is an expert in Laparoscopic Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery, and specializes in performing Laparoscopic Gastric Banding, Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, and Revisional Surgery for previously failed weight loss procedures. His clinical expertise extends well beyond weight loss surgery. Dr. Lyass routinely performs Laparoscopic Foregut and Colon surgery, repair of the abdominal wall hernias using minimally invasive technique, laparoscopic spleen, pancreas and adrenal procedures.
Dr. Lyass joined oBand Medical Group in early 2011. Together our goal is to help patients achieve lasting weight loss, reduce life-threatening risk factors, improve self esteem, and improve overall health.
Eufrocino Martinez, M.D., F.I.C.S.
Dr. Eufrocino Martinez received his medical degree at the University of Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He continued his education and training in surgery at Martin Luther King-Charles R. Drew, Los Angeles County Medical Center in Los Angeles from 1979 to 1984, where he was recognized for as the Most Outstanding Resident and Chief Administration Resident.
Dr. Martinez entered private practice in 1984 in general surgery and, at the same time, was part time attending surgeon at Martin Luther King-Charles R. Drew Los Angeles County Medical Center.
Dr. Martinez now specializes in bariatric surgery for the treatment of morbid obesity. Dr. Martinez was also Director of Surgical Endoscopy at Martin Luther King-Charles R. Drew, Los Angeles County Medical Center. He has also practiced at both Martin Luther King-Charles R. Drew Los Angeles County Medical Center and California Hospital Medical Center as a trauma surgeon. Dr. Martinez hasalso taught many residents the art of surgical endoscopy.
